ORDINANCE NO. 2013- 1.4 09 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2012-391; AMENDING THE CITY'S <br /> BUDGET FOR THE 2012-2013 FISCAL YEAR - BUILDING <br /> FUND FOR ADDITIONAL STAFF IN THE BUILDING <br /> DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE <br /> TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and the <br /> City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 (the "Budget") <br /> by Ordinance No. 2012-391; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget for <br /> unanticipated expenses during Fiscal Year 2012-2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the <br /> Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof. <br /> Section 2: Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2012-391 is amended to reflect the revisions in Exhibit "A". All other terms and <br /> conditions of Ordinance No. 2012-391 not otherwise amended by this Ordinance remain in full <br /> force and effect. <br /> Section 3: Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take <br /> all actions necessary to implement the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4: Effective Date.
