RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 2.10t-1 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE FIRST <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH BLUE DIGITAL CORP. <br /> FOR DOCUMENT IMAGING SERVICES FOR THE REMAINING CITY <br /> DEPARTMENTS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY <br /> THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT <br /> "A", UTILIZING MIAMI-DADE COUNTY BID NO. 8254-1/22; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br /> NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING <br /> FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, on July 18th, 2013 via Resolution 2013-2085 the City Commission approved <br /> an agreement with Blue Digital Corp. for document imaging services for the Building <br /> Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to include additional imaging services to the original <br /> agreement, to include documents from the remaining departments, with the exception of the <br /> Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, Blue Digital Corp. has expressed the ability and desire to provide these <br /> services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to ratify the First Amendment to the Agreement with Blue <br /> Digital Corp. to provide document imaging services, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand <br /> Dollars ($50,000.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A", bringing the total contract amount to not to <br /> exceed Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($298,900.00). <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The recitals set forth in this resolution are incorporated <br /> herein by reference as if fully set forth herein. <br /> Section2. Ratifying Approval of First Amendment to Agreement. The First Amendment to <br /> the Agreement with Blue Digital Corp. for document imaging services, in an amount not to <br /> exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), attached hereto as Exhibit"A", is hereby ratified. <br /> Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br /> things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date.
