COVER LETTER COVER LETTER AND EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Greenspoon Marder LLP (the “Firm”) is pleased to submit this Response to the City of Sunny Isles Beach’s (the “City”) advertisement to provide professional legal services. We are qualified to serve as the City’s Attorney because of the breadth and depth of our knowledge and experience in municipal law. Our government and government relations attorneys represent, and have represented, a broad cross-section of public sector clients, including: Florida counties, villages, cities, towns, and school districts; the Florida Department of Transportation; and other governmental boards and commissions. Our attorneys have also held or hold elective office at the Municipal and Legislative level, and we have represented clients at all levels of government, in front of Courts, and at the Municipal, County, Legislative, and State Agency level. We have also represented many individual municipal officials. Our proposal is for Mr. Joseph S. Geller, Esq., to be the lead City attorney, with a team of attorneys from our Government and Government Relations Division and others to assist him in providing legal services to the City. Mr. Geller and his team propose to serve as contracted legal counsel and provide all legal services traditionally provided by the City Attorney’s Office. For any matter that requires specialized legal assistance, Mr. Geller will draw on specialists in the Firm who practice in those areas of law, or, where desired or necessary, outside counsel. We positively affirm that Mr. Geller and his team can perform the work required in an efficient and timely manner, and that we received no addenda to the RFQ. Mr. Geller is authorized by the Firm, as a Partner, to make representations on behalf of the Firm.
