He earned his juris doctor cum laude in 1990 from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. Tom served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kevin Michael Moore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida from March 1992 to September 1993. He is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the 11th Circuit Co urt of Appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court.
