It can kill immediately. <br /> <br /> Never use a power tool that has a damaged or "homemade " plug. <br /> <br /> Do not remove the grounding pin from a three-way plug. <br /> <br /> Never use power tools in explosive or flammable atmospheres. <br /> <br /> Check with the local power utility before working around power lines. <br /> <br /> Avoid downed or damaged power lines. <br /> <br /> Use only approved insulated power tools and appliances. <br /> <br /> Never work on a power tool or machinery while it is plugged in. <br /> <br /> Make sure all power tools are grounded. <br /> <br /> Remember, electricity is much faster than you are. <br /> <br />Any employee making unauthorized, unsafe alterations to an electrical device or power tool, or operating <br />either in an unsafe manner, will be subject to disciplinary action as a safety violation. <br /> <br />First Aid <br /> <br />TGSV provides all of its jobsites with a First Aid Kit. There are specific pe rsonnel trained in First Aid and CPR <br />procedures. Always make sure who are these employees trained, ask your immediate Supervisor. <br /> <br /> <br />Upon any emergency, doubt or life threatening injury CALL 9 -1-1 and advise the Emergency Rescue Operator <br />of your location and cooperate with their requirements.
