CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scholl at 6:30 p.m. with the following officials present: Mayor George "Bud" Scholl City Manager Christopher J. Russo Vice Mayor Larisa Svechin City Clerk Mauricio Betancur, CMC Commissioner Dana Goldman Deputy City Manager Stan Morris Commissioner Alex Lama Interim City Attorney Julia Grachova Commissioner Jeniffer Viscarra Interim Assistant City Attorney Lotoya Brown 2. ' PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE /INVOCATION Action: Sunny Isles Beach resident Roberto Rodriguez gave the pledge of Allegiance and Monsignor Gregory gave the invocation. 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 3A. Revised: Regular City Commission Meeting—February 21, 2018. Action: Commissioner Goldman moved, and Vice Mayor Svechin seconded a motion to approve the above-mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 4. ORDER OF BUSINESS (Additions/Deletions/Amendments) Add On: Item 5A. Certificate of Appreciation Presented to Theresa Walton;Add On: Item 10H. Resolution Opposing Florida House Bill 3 and Senate Bill 1748; Revised: Item 12A. Discussion regarding City Advisory Committee. Action: Vice Mayor Svechin moved, and Commissioner Goldman seconded a motion to approve the above-mentioned changes to the agenda. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 5. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS 5A. Add-On: Certificate of Appreciation Presented to Theresa Walton. Action: Vice Mayor Svechin presented Theresa Walton with a Certification of Appreciation on behalf of the City Commission.
