Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Susan City Manager Simpson,Assistant <br /> p <br /> DATE: 6/20/2019 <br /> RE: Change Order Number 1 with Temple, Inc for Crosswalk <br /> Enhancements - <br /> • RECOMMENDATION: <br /> This item is presented for your consideration. <br /> REASONS: <br /> Through Resolution No. 2019-2908, the City Commission approved an <br /> agreement with Temple, Inc. to provide the additional enhancements <br /> for the proposed crosswalk at the intersection of North Bay Road and <br /> - - 172 Street in an amount not to exceed $109,380. At the <br /> recommendation of a traffic engineer, the crossing has been <br /> reconfigured to better serve the pedestrian bridge landing. The signals <br /> at the bridge have also been converted from solar to the more reliable <br /> power available at the bridge panel. These changes result in an increas <br /> of$5,734 for a total contract price of$115,114.00 <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> Funding for this item is budgeted for and available in the Capital <br /> Improvement Plan account number 300-5-5410-465000-99008. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> 109 <br />
