BA1819-02 TO THE CITY'S OPERATING <br /> AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET FOR THE 2018-2019 <br /> FISCAL YEAR - GENERAL FUND, STREET MAINTENANCE & <br /> CONSTRUCTION FUND, BUILDING FUND, PUBLIC ART <br /> TRUST FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, STORMWATER <br /> FUND AND STORMWATER CAPITAL FUND; AUTHORIZING <br /> ' THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br /> IMPLEMENT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS <br /> ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Sections 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and the <br /> City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 (the "Budget") <br /> by Ordinance No. 2018-526; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget for: <br /> (1) the transfer of funding for COLA increases from the Department of Human Resources to <br /> affected departments, (2) correcting Police Department amounts and a purchase order carryover <br /> amount, (3) recording revenue/expenditure budget for tree planting grant received from Miami- <br /> Dade County, (4) the transfer of funding in the'Office of the City Attorney personnel account to <br /> the operating account and appropriation of additional funding, (5) to appropriate additional <br /> funding for the 174`" Street Pedestrian Bridge project, and (6) recording two (2) purchase order <br /> carryovers in the Stormwater Fund; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the <br /> Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof. <br /> Section 2. Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2018-2019 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2018-526 is amended as Amendment No. BA1819-02 to reflect the revisions in <br /> Exhibit "A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 2018-526 not otherwise amended <br /> by this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take <br /> all actions necessary to implement the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date.
