CALL TO ORDER/ ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 6:30 p.m. with the following officials <br /> present: <br /> Mayor Norman S. Edelcup City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br /> Vice Mayor Isaac Aelion City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br /> Commissioner Jeanette Gatto City Clerk Jane A. Hines, MMC <br /> Commissioner Jennifer Levin Deputy City Attorney Fernando Amuchastegui <br /> Commissioner George "Bud" Scholl <br /> Timothy Bryd, President, K-8 Student Council <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE / INVOCATION <br /> Action: Timothy Byrd led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag,and City Historian Richard C. <br /> Schulman gave the invocation. [City Clerk's Note: See additional action under Add-On Item <br /> 5B.J <br /> Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks of decorum. Mayor Edelcup introduced Timothy <br /> Bryd, President of the Student Council at the Norman S. Edelcup K-8 School who sat up at <br /> the dais. Mayor Edelcup said Tim is interning on our Commission so that when he graduates <br /> some day he too can be one of our Commissioners here in Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> 3A. Special City Commission Meeting/Executive Session— February 20, 2014. <br /> Action: Commissioner Scholl moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to <br /> approve the above mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice <br /> vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 3B. Regular City Commission Meeting— February 20, 2014. <br /> Action:Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Scholl seconded a motion to approve <br /> the above mentioned Summary Minutes. The motion was approved by a voice vote of 5- <br /> 0 in favor. <br /> 3C. Special City Commission Meeting—February 27, 2014. <br /> Action:Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve <br /> the above mentioned Summary Minutes.
