Hasbun, Planning and Zoning Director <br /> DATE: 11/21/2019 <br /> Approving a consulting proposal from Calvin, Giordano <br /> RE: and Associates for Public Engagement <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> C <br /> i <br /> This Resolution is recommended for approval. <br /> REASONS: <br /> The City Commission has requested that we commence a public <br /> engagement process for the area now identified as the Town Center <br /> North. Calvin, Giordano and Associates, Inc. has submitted a proposal <br /> consisting of collecting data and creating an assessment of the existing <br /> planning and zoning regulatory framework of the area, providing for <br /> outreach through interviews and workshops with the public in general <br /> • and stakeholders, and finally to articulate and provide for solutions <br /> which are from the public feedback exercises. The final <br /> recommendations will be presented to the City Commission for <br /> potential actions regarding amendments or initiatives to the city's <br /> planning and zoning regulatory framework.
