RESOLUTION NO. 2019- 3019 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> 1 SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN INCREASE <br /> IN THE REGISTRATION FOR THE SEASONAL RENTALS; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br /> I NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; ' <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 217-9 of the City Code provides the City Commission the authority <br /> to increase the registration fee for Seasonal Rentals ("Single Family Detached Dwelling"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has the authority to review all fees to determine if an <br /> adjustment should be recommended to the City Commission; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on a review of the fee, the City Manager is recommending an <br /> increase from $25.00 to $300.00 for the registration fee to cover for administrative and <br /> enforcement costs. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: <br /> • <br /> Section 1. Approval of the Increase in Registration Fee. The City Commission hereby <br /> approves the recommendation to increase the registration fee for Seasonal Rentals ("Single <br /> Family Detached Dwelling") from $25.00 to $300.00. <br /> Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is authorized to do all things <br /> necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. <br /> Section 3. Effective Date.
