<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
<br /> ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING AMENDMENTS TO THE
<br /> AGREEMENT WITH SEA DIVERSIFIED, INC. TO PERFORM
<br /> SHORELINE SURVEYING AND MAPPING CONSULTING SERVICES,
<br /> ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBITS "A", "B", AND "C"; AUTHORIZING
<br /> THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO
<br /> EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br /> DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, on July 21St, 2016 via Resolution No. 2016-2575, the City Commission
<br /> ranked-the submittals in response to Request for Qualification No. 16-06-01 for Shoreline
<br /> Surveying and Mapping Consulting Services ("Services") and authorized the City Manager to
<br /> negotiate and enter into an agreement with the top ranked firm of Sea Diversified, Inc. ("Firm");
<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS, on October 1St, 2016, the City Manager executed an Agreement with the
<br /> Firm, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00 for a period of one (1) year and four (4) additional
<br /> one (1) year renewal options; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on October 3rd, 2017, the City Manager executed a First Amendment to the
<br /> Agreement with the Firm, thereby renewing the Agreement and exercising the City's first of four
<br /> (4) renewal options, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00, bringing the total contract amount
<br /> not to exceed $90,000.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on November 26th, 2018, the City Manager executed a Second Amendment
<br /> to the Agreement with the Firm, thereby renewing the Agreement and exercising the City's
<br /> second of four (4) renewal options, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00, bringing the total
<br /> contract amount not to exceed $135,000.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "B"; and
<br /> WHEREAS, on December 31St, 2019, the City Manager executed a Third Amendment to
<br /> the Agreement with the Firm, thereby renewing the Agreement and exercising the City's third of
<br /> four (4) renewal options, in an amount not to exceed $45,000.00, bringing the total contract
<br /> amount not to exceed $180,000.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "C"; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to ratify the Amendments to the Agreement
<br /> with Sea Diversified, Inc. for Shoreline Surveying and Mapping Consulting Services, attached
<br /> hereto as Exhibits "A", "B", and "C".
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> Section 1. Ratification of Amendments. The City Commission hereby ratifies the
<br /> Amendments to the Agreement with Sea Diversified, Inc. for Shoreline Surveying and Mapping
<br /> Consulting Services, attached hereto as Exhibits "A", "B", and "C".
<br /> Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
<br /> things necessary to effectuate this Resolution.
