Resume <br />Maser Consulting <br />MICHAEL CALVO <br />Lead Designator – Subsurface utility Engineering <br /> <br />As a subsurface utility engineering lead designator, Mr. Calvo has <br />worked on various project assignments for various public and private <br />sector clients including the Florida Department of Transportation, <br />counties and cities in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Mr. Calvo is <br />one of our lead investigators, responsible for leading designating and <br />locating crews to successful completion of assignments. His <br />responsibilities include assisting project managers, serving as client <br />liaison, communicating with utility owners, contacting state “One-Call” <br />systems, and ensuring compliance with all Maser Consulting safety <br />and subsurface utility engineering operations. <br /> <br />PROJECTS <br /> <br />Engineering Consultant Services for Highway Construction and <br />Engineering Design <br />Broward County, FL <br />Provided surveying and subsurface utility engineering support for <br />various county-wide transportation and general civil engineering <br />projects. Typical services included design surveys, topographic <br />surveys, water crossing surveys, 3D laser scanning, utility designation, <br />locating and mapping to support project designs as well as post- <br />construction services associated with new traffic signals, signal <br />conversions, mast arm installations, evaluations of existing utilities, <br />roadway widening, bridge rehabs, intersection improvements and <br />school zone improvements among others. <br /> <br />FDOT D6 Districtwide Utility Location Services <br />Miami-Dade County, FL <br />Provided underground utility location services, including physical <br />locates and surface designations to FDOT District 6 for contract FM <br />#250723-2-32-03/-04. Through designating, locating and mapping <br />services, supported the District’s current work program in completing <br />the design and development of construction plans. Completed 2020 <br /> <br />Palm Beach International Airport GPR for Utility Clearance <br />West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, FL <br />Provided Quality Level “B” utility designation identifying eleven <br />locations in the Northwest portion of the airport. Keith and Associates <br />designated tone able and non-tone able underground utilities to <br />facilitate their removal and allow for drilling by PSI for execution of their <br />scope. <br /> <br />Miscellaneous Subsurface Utility Engineering Contract for the <br />School Board of Broward County <br />Broward County, FL <br />Miscellaneous surveying and SUE services to include Utility Horizontal <br />Designation, Utility Location Services and Mapping Services on an as- <br />needed basis.
