REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 20-07-01
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA)

TAB F: FIRM REFERENCES AND SIMILAR WORK COMPLETED

David Reyes (continued)
Western C-11 Facilities Report Update and Basin Study - CBWCD | Davie, Cooper City, Southwest
Ranches (Survey & DTM Development) - Field Coordinator for Field Operations and Senior CAD
Technician, GPS Network data collection and adjustment, coordination of field crews, and CAD Technician
for final drawings and computations for Hydrographic & topographic surveys. Mr. Reyes created the
digital elevation model from the information.
Fort Lauderdale Stormwater Master Plan GIS & Survey | City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Performed surveying, and an As-built/Inventory 5,400 Stormwater Features for GIS City-Wide Stormwater
Model. The survey limits of this project are described as the entire City limits of Fort Lauderd ale. The City
was flown with high density aerial LiDAR to a vertical accuracy of 0.15 feet across the entire City. From
the Lidar we created a 2-foot grid Digital Elevation Model of the ground for modeling drainage flow. This
required a GPS Control Network, and 309 ground control for the flight, performed over 5,000 verification
shots on hard surfaces at major roadways across the city. The second part of this survey was to collect
and evaluate 5,400 storm structures with Rims, Inverts, Pipe Size, material, and research As-built records
of the City in the Stormwater system and provide the data to the City in ArcGIS Geodatabase conforming
to their GIS Model Schema.
Fort Lauderdale Sanitary Sewer System GIS & Surveying | Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Craven Thompson established Primary and Secondary Vertical Control with over 3000 new benchmarks
for Sanitary Sewer Mapping of the City, including As-built/Inventory of Manholes, pump Stations, meters,
valves, air valves and 80 miles of force mains.

North Miami Beach Sewer & Water GIS Project | North Miami Beach, Florida - Sr. Survey /GIS Technician
-This project for North Miami Beach Utility Department was undertaken to create an ArcGIS geodatabase
of water and sanitary sewer system for the entire services area. The goal of this project was to provide
Survey/GIS grade data without the expense of surveying the entire water and sanitary sewer system. To
accomplish this goal Craven Thompson performed a citywide GPS horizontal and vertical Control survey.
Mr. Pryce was the project manager and was directly involved in the AutoCAD GIS conversion, and creation
of the GIS map & attributes. The parcel maps and geodatabase are based on the GPS control network,
converting and geo-referencing the original As-Built AutoCAD files to State Plane, Florida East Zone, NAD
8390 HARN, units US Survey Feet inside of the Autodesk environment. The geo-referencing of the
AutoCAD files was performed based on the survey quality maps, as-builts and from high definition (3”
pixel) aerial photography. The high-density photography, when overlaid into AutoCAD was necessary to
allowed the GIS technician to visually id, manholes, valves, fire hydrant and other features to geo-
reference AutoCAD files which often were graphically depicted and not survey accurate
Stormwater GIS/Data Collection, Project | North Miami Beach, Florida | Sr. Survey /GIS Technician - The
City is divided into six (6) zones and that structure/pipe data was collect ed within each zone and
identified by zone and structure numbers. GIS data was collected and processed utilizing the City’s
existing Unit ID naming system in the geodatabase. The CTA data was collected by a Unique ID. Craven
Thompson provided the City with a copy of the updated geodatabase with all the proposed data fields to
be collected for review. The GIS data collected consisted of: Structure type (junction, inlet, control
structure, drainage well): Pipes: Culvert and Outfalls: and Headwalls and Seawalls.

F | Page 65
