The scope of services included surveying, engineering design, and construction <br />observation. More specifically, Craven Thompson & Associates performed the following: prepared a topographic <br />survey of a portion of NE 185th Street, east of Biscayne Boulevard. including the full right of way for NE 185th <br />Street beginning at the east end; provided two (2) borehole permeability tests for the proposed water quality <br />exfiltration trench system; provided four (4) subsurface utility engineering locates in the proximity of the <br />proposed exfiltration trench; prepared paving, grading, and drainage drawings for the extended westbound left <br />turn lane on NE 185th Street; prepared Pavement Marking and Signage drawings. prepared, submitted, and <br />processed permit applications through Miami-Dade County Public Works; prepared Engineer’s Cost Opinion for <br />the proposed improvements; prepared technical specifications to include with the City’s Bid package and <br />assisted City in bidding the project utilizing the bidders from the annual maintenance and repair contract; <br />performed miscellaneous coordination with agencies, franchise utilities, and/or City; provided civil engineering <br />construction services, including periodic observation of the work to assure conformance with specifications and <br />drawings.
