Qualification Information and <br />Assigned Personnel <br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services <br />Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 <br />2-Civil Engineers <br />Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewer <br />Pipeline Contract, Miami, FL (A Continuing Services Contract) <br />Other scope includes Permitting Services, Procurement Services and Construction Engineering <br />Inspection Services. Contract Amount $3.4M for 6 years with and optional 2-year extension for $1m <br />more. <br />Tasks have included: <br />Miami Dade County Water and Sewer Department NW 22nd Ave Wastewater Collection/Transmission <br />System Expansion and Water Distribution Systems Improvement for the North Sub-Basin (D2-C-1) - Ross <br />Engineering, Inc. assisted the Miami-Dade County’s Project Manager to design the wastewater collection <br />and transmission system and improve the potable <br />water distribution system to the commercial and <br />industrial parcels along the North Basin, north of NW <br />22nd Avenue. This design included 11,500 linear feet <br />of new 8” and 12” sewer main, 850 linear feet of force <br />main, and 5,800 linear feet of 8”, 10” and 12” <br />watermain along NW 22nd Ave. All the residents in <br />that area will be required to abandon their existing <br />septic systems and connect to the new sewer lateral <br />that will be designed for each house. Through this new <br />project, each property will be provided a new 6” <br />sanitary sewer lateral, new water meter and water <br />service that is connected to the new mains in the <br />street. Const. Amount: $4.4M <br />Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department Watermain Replacement <br />along Alhambra Circle – Ross Engineering, Inc. assisted the County’s <br />Project Manager to design 1,800 linear feet of new 8” dip watermain <br />to replace the existing 3” shallow pipeline in that area. Ross was also <br />responsible for all the utility locates in that area, MOT plans, <br />specification for Miami Dade Water and Sewer Department, <br />permitting and the cost estimate. The watermain had to be offset <br />from the median due to the large trees’ roots destroying the pipe. <br />Construction Amount: $315,000 <br />Page 14
