Qualification Information and <br />Assigned Personnel <br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services <br />Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 <br />2-Civil Engineers <br />City of Hallandale Beach Continuing Services Contract – Professional Engineering Services – <br />Prime: Synalovski Romanick Saye - Ross Engineering, Inc. was awarded this Continuing Services <br />Contract in 2017 as the sole civil engineering sub consultant for typical engineering design services. <br />•City of Hallandale Beach General Engineering Services Sidewalk/ADA Master Plan Project - project <br />to create a Masterplan of the City's sidewalks and connectivity. The assignment was to identify <br />deficiencies and introduce solutions for sidewalk connectivity allowing for safe pedestrian usage <br />including Americans with <br />Disability Act (ADA) <br />improvements for proper <br />handicap access. A <br />complete survey was <br />performed throughout <br />the city to analyze the <br />condition at each <br />intersection and Ross <br />Engineering assisted the <br />project Manager to <br />provide connectivity <br />solutions. <br />•City of Hallandale Beach Ingalls Park, Hallandale, FL – project included the complete redesign of the <br />park including all the drainage and grading for the new sidewalks, parking lot and pavilions. As part of <br />this project, the City Hallandale requested for all of the existing sidewalks surrounding the park to be <br />extended to 8’ sidewalks. Ross Engineering, Inc. coordinated closely with the Landscape Architect for <br />the relocation of the existing <br />trees as well as relocating <br />existing catch basins. <br />Permits for onsite and offsite <br />were obtained from the City <br />of Hallandale Beach, <br />Broward County EPD, and <br />FDOT drainage connection <br />permit since this site was <br />within 500’ of an FDOT right- <br />of-way. <br />Page 17
