Section C – Cover Letter and Executive Summary   <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Request for Qualifications No, 20-07-01 Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />  <br />  <br />William Lane Architect, Inc. <br /> <br />August 6, 2020 <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />Sunny Isles Beach Government Center <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br /> <br />RE: Request for Qualifications No, 20-07-01 Continuing Professional Consulting <br />Services (CCNA) <br /> <br />Dear City Clerk, <br /> <br />Thank you for the opportunity to submit our qualifications. <br /> <br />We understand that the purpose of this RFQ is that the City of Sunny Isles Beach is <br />seeking statements of qualification from design professionals to provide services as <br />required under a non-exclusive continuing service contract for design services. <br />Professional services awarded through this RFQ will be for projects that do not exceed <br />$4,000,000 in basic construction cost and for study activity if the fee for professional <br />services for each individual study does not exceed $500,000. <br /> <br />Our architectural studio has worked with several local municipalities and agencies on <br />numerous projects similar to the scope of work described in this RFQ. Our office’s work <br />is primarily in the public realm and not only meets the criteria of being on time and <br />within budget but also as an opportunity to reflect the community’s commitment to <br />quality design. <br /> <br />We acknowledge that our firm, if selected, is willing to meet any location, budget, or task <br />order. We warrant and represent that at all times during the term of the <br />Agreement w e shall maintain in good standing all licenses, certifications and <br />permits required under federal, state and local laws necessary to perform the services. <br /> <br />We have been licensed in Florida since 1992. During this time we have had the <br />opportunity to successfully complete a multitude of different projects each with their <br />specific challenges. Our studio is currently working on several projects both in the <br />private and public sector. These projects are in different phases of completion. We are <br />prepared to begin new projects. Our network of contacts in the South Florida region <br />allows us to readily increase staff to meet overall workloads. <br /> <br />Our staff and that of our consultants are represented by a diverse group of employees <br />represented by people inclusive of gender, color, race, and religion. We are committed <br />to meeting MBE procurement goals under Florida Statutes 287.09451.
