Project Title – Lifeguard Towers <br />a. Client – City of Miami Beach – Department of Planning and Zoning <br />b. Description of Work – The scope of work included the design of 32 new <br />lifeguard towers positioned along the beach from Government Cut to 85th <br />Street. The team worked closely with Ocean Rescue and the Planning <br />Department. Services included schematic design, DRB approval, <br />bidding/negotiations, and construction administration. <br />c. Agreement – P.O. 019555 – Fee $48,307 <br /> <br />City of Miami Beach Department of Public Works <br /> <br />2. Screen Enclosures for Stormwater pumps <br />a. Project Title – Screen Enclosures Stormwater Pump Stations <br />b. Client – City of Miami Beach Department of Public Works <br />c. Description of Work – The scope of work involved the design of a series of <br />visual screens to conceal the storm water pump stations being built <br />around the City as a response to rising sea levels. Using architectural <br />elements and landscaping we developed several prototypes for specific <br />locations in the City including the street ends along the bay in South <br />Beach, Sunset Harbor, the Venetian Islands, and Palm Island. <br />d.
