Section E – Qualification Information and Assigned Personnel <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />Request for Qualifications No, 20-07-01 Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br /> <br /> <br />Qualification Information and Assigned Personnel <br /> <br />William Lane Architect, Inc. is a fully licensed architectural firm in the State of Florida. <br /> <br />Our office has been in operation in Miami since 1992. During that time we have <br />successfully completed dozens of projects in both the public and private sector that <br />include a wide range of scales and programs. At this time, we have a combined staff of <br />5 people including an office manager. <br /> <br />The studio is known not only for our designs but also for the administration of projects <br />during construction to assure that they are built on time and within budget. <br /> <br />William Lane has been a licensed architect since 1987. Prior to opening his own office <br />he worked in the offices of I.M. Pei and Partners in New York on several public and <br />corporate projects in the United States and abroad. He is registered to practice <br />architecture in the State of Florida and is a LEED Certified Professional. He has been <br />an active member of the American Institute of Architects since 1988. Over the past 30 <br />years Mr. Lane’s work been published in several national and international periodicals <br />and books. His work has garnered several awards form the American Institute of <br />Architects. He is particularly known for his contribution to public spaces. His work has <br />been described as iconic and has been used to market and brand the South Florida <br />region. <br /> <br />Felice Grodin first worked with our studio in 2006 and was on the design team for the <br />South Point Park project. She returned to our office in 2014 and was responsible for the <br />project management of the Stephen P. Clarke Center Barrier Removal Analysis which <br />explored the meaning of barriers not only for people with disabilities but for the general <br />public as well. Felice was also a key player in the design of the 6 lifeguard prototypes <br />for the City of Miami Beach and the award winning café for the Frost Science Museum. <br /> <br />Omar Moreno first worked with our firm in 1999 and was a project manager for the <br />Sampson Beachfront Park and the renovation of several historic hotels including the <br />Edison Hotel and Leslie Hotel on Ocean Drive. Later, he worked for several years for <br />M.C. Harry on different federal projects before returning to our office in 2016. Since then <br />he has worked on several public sector projects including the new Pinecrest Gardens <br />Inspiration Center and Animal Habitat, as well as, three current projects at the Miami <br />International Airport. <br /> <br />Carlos Wong has been a member of our office since 2016 and is the project manager <br />for the Multi use Tennis Pavilion and Shade elements for the proposed 22 acre <br />Bayshore Park project for the City of Miami Beach. He is currently working with our <br />office on several ongoing renovations in the Miami Dade SPCC government building. <br />He is also the project manager for the new CMB Guardhouse for Sunset Island 1 and 2. <br />
