(PDS) served as the Construction Project Managers under the <br />Contractor selected to Furnish and Install transit improvements at 72 locations in Miami-Dade County, in <br />the Cities of Homestead, North Miami and Miami Lakes, Bay Harbor Islands, El Portal, Opa-Locka , <br />Florida City, Surfside, North Miami Beach and City of Aventura. These project were Federally Funded <br />and coordinated by the Miami-Dade Transit Department. PDS is the main contact for all communications <br />between Contactor, County, City and Federal Agencies in this contract. Project includes the ADA <br />accessibility improvements to bus stop locations, new bus shelters and amenities, new sidewalk and <br />reinforced concrete pads, the relocation of existing bus shelters and permitting activities. <br />The PDS professional staff has been tasked with the permitting through the 10 municipalities involved in <br />this project, coordination with Miami-Dade Transit and the shelter manufacturer for the approval of shop <br />drawings and resolution of field related issues. PDS also developed incidental engineering design plans <br />and the construction schedule, providing monthly updates. Thanks to the vast Transit Improvements <br />experience brought by PDS, these projects have been able to be completed within the strict time frame <br />dictated by owner and Federal Agencies funding this project. <br /> <br />Premiere Design Solution’s Duties in the project are: <br /> <br /> Conduct Pre-Construction visits to identify field problems early on. <br /> Obtain permits through Municipalities and Miami-Dade County. <br /> Develop and Update Construction Schedule <br /> Perform periodic field visits to check progress of construction. <br /> Prepare monthly payment requisition packages, including updated project schedule, progress <br />photographs, and related documentation as required for Federally Funded Projects. <br /> Prepare Change Notice and Request for Information Documents and negotiate resolution <br /> Testing coordination and monitoring Safety and Quality Control during Construction. <br /> Incidental Engineering Drawings to obtain necessary permits <br /> Liaison between Municipalities, County and Contractor on any aspect related to this project. <br /> <br />Miami-Dade Transit <br />ARRA Municipalities Group A&C- Transit Improvements <br />10 Different Municipalities, Florida <br /> <br />Previous ExperiencePremiere Design Solutions, Inc.
