125 <br />Universal Engineering Sciences | <br />UES served as Special Inspector during construction of the two- <br />story, 6,000 square-foot facility for the City of Miami Beach, Florida. <br />Materials testing services included in-place density testing, laboratory <br />compaction testing, laboratory compressive strength testing of <br />concrete cylinders, field concrete testing, and masonry grout testing. <br />UES also performed Special Inspection of all auger cast-in-place pile <br />foundations supporting the proposed building. UES provided oversight <br />during the test pile program, which included compression, tension <br />and lateral load testing.
