<br />It is with great pleasure that we submit our professional qualifications for the Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) for the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Founded in 2000 by Mr. Bruno-Elias Ramos, BEA Architects provides you with an experienced team of professionals that offer complete Architectural and Engineering Services, including but not limited to Design, Facility Assessments, Master Planning, Construction Documents, Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Bidding Assistance, Permitting, and Construction Administration, as well as a genuine and firm commitment to keeping quality, budget and scheduling needs as a top priority.
<br />Headquartered in Miami, FL, BEA Architects has over 25 years of experience and has worked closely with public and governmental facilities on numerous Professional Continuing Contracts from conception to completion, such as, Miami Beach City Hall Interior Renovations, MoCA Courtyard Improvements, North Shore Tennis Center, Long Key Transfer Station Repairs, City of Miami Beach City Hall Evac Plan, Miami Beach Bandshell Park, PortMiami, Port Everglades, and more. BEA has an outstanding record of successful completion of over 20 Continuing Services Contracts with different cities, organizations and municipalities, in the past 10 years, such as, the City of Miami Beach, PortMiami, City of North Miami, City of Opa-Locka, City of Miami Gardens, City of Homestead, Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation, Miami Dade Aviation Department, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, City of West Palm Beach, City of Fort Lauderdale, City oh Hialeah, Port of West Palm Beach, Port Everglades Broward County, Port of Tampa, Port Canaveral, Florida Atlantic University, and Florida International University.
<br />Led by BEA’s Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager Bruno-Elias Ramos, AIA, GC, LEED AP, all of our highly qualified experts are committed to design excellence through innovation and the unequivocal drive to exceed our client’s expectations and requirements. BEA is proud to have an experienced in-house team, that fully understand the City’s background, as well as its communal environments and will tailor each project under this contract to meet current and future needs. This team will serve to guarantee a successful relationship with the City and will work efficiently to convey an impressive, state-of-the-art and first-class image of the City. Our team, each excelling in their own discipline, will provide support in Civil Engineering, Leak Detection Studies, and Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Services by Nova Consulting, Inc.; Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Plumbing Engineering by Hammond & Associates, Inc.; Surveying and Mapping Services by Premiere Design Solutions, Inc.; Geotechnical Engineering and Materials Sampling and Testing by Universal Engineering Sciences; Structural Engineering Services by PMM Consulting; and Environmental Engineering and Sea Level Rise Consulting Services by Coastal International Systems, Inc. The BEA team fully understands the importance of this contract and scope of services that will ultimately support the City of Sunny Isles Beach and their desire to contract professional architectural services on an “as-needed basis” to improve the City’s facilities, services and community.
<br />Considering the project’s scope and length of contract, the City of Sunny Isles Beach will need a resilient team with not only governmental and public works project experience, but also a team with a diverse portfolio that can add value and a new creative approach to future projects. BEA is known for its innovative ideas, and is also world-renowned for its state-of-the-art port and cruise terminal designs. BEA will provide general consultation for recommendations for improvements or operations of municipal lands, buildings and structures, utilities and roads, as well as development analysis, alternative analysis on existing building, project design, cost estimates, project planning, preliminary studies, drawings and specifications, and any other services assigned by the City that will reflect the City’s environment while inspiring staff, residents and visitors.
<br />We take into consideration the City’s schedules and budget, as well as other plans so that other ongoing projects do not interfere with current schedules, neighborhoods, programs and events. Additionally, BEA will take into account the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and will take the necessary precautions to avoid health risks of our team and City Staff. Because BEA understands how this pandemic affects current and future designs, planning and constructions, we will implement the new regulations made by the City to our work so that the community can move to a “New Normal”. The BEA team will have a strong and clear communication with the City’s staff, despite the possibility of not having face-to-face meetings and will implement protocols executed by the City and the County into its design.
