81 <br />FERNANDO FERNANDEZ, PSM <br /> Surveying Lead <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Taylor Lane Roadway Improvements, Dania Beach, FL. - The project consisted of topographic survey, drainage <br />improvements and roadway improvements for the purposes of providing flood protection for Taylor Lane located in <br />the City of Dania Beach. Mr. Fernandez was the Project Surveyor and was responsible for conducting field data <br />collection of above ground features including elevations and CAD drawing production for the later design, <br />permitting and construction oversight for the improvements to this roadway. The design included creating roadside <br />swales and retention areas, along with storm inlets and drainage piping system to convey the roadway stormwater <br />run-off. The project also included raising sections of the roadway to meet Broward County roadway flood criteria. <br /> <br />FDOT District 4, Broward County Transit Bus Shelter Project, Broward County, FL. This Design-Build, fast <br />track, project consisted of providing ADA compliant bus shelters to 73 locations throughout the cities of Wilton <br />Manors, Oakland Park and Pompano Beach, in Broward County. Mr. Fernandez was the project Land Surveyor <br />responsible for the generation of topographic surveys along local roadways, recording all above ground features at <br />all the sites, utilizing GPS equipment and coordinating work between survey crew, client and engineer. <br /> <br />Fort Lauderdale Airport Runway Expansion Project, Fort Lauderdale, FL – this project proposes to expand the <br />runway over US-1. Mr. Fernandez participated in the generation of topographic surveys in relation to the <br />underground utility designs of engineering drawings for 16” Water Main, and 12” Force Main for utility relocations <br />required for this project. Project also included a shared communication duct bank to relocate communication <br />utilities along the corridor. Mr. Fernandez also provided periodic field visits to record as-built information of the <br />communications duct-bank and provided survey controls during construction. Utility companies included AT&T, <br />FPL, TECO, Comcast, FAA, Windstream, XO, CITGO, Buckeye Pipeline, Qwest, Verizon, Sprint, L3, etc. <br /> <br />Pembroke Pines City Center, Pembroke Pines, Florida (SR-820 & Palm Ave.) - The Pembroke Pines City <br />Center is a lifestyle center on a 115-acre site that provides new urbanism design mixing residential, commercial <br />and retail all within walking distance in the City of Pembroke Pines. Mr. Fernandez was the overall Survey Party <br />Chief and Surveyor Principal responsible for the topographic and boundary survey of a portion of the site ready for <br />construction. Mr. Fernandez also conducted periodic visits to the site to stake out the different components of the <br />project, to direct contractor as to the location of proposed improvements. Tasks included the stakeout of proposed <br />roadways, light pole locations, building corners, underground utility as-built location and elevation, and horizontal <br />and vertical plumb verification of concrete slabs for buildings. <br /> <br />Hard Rock Stadium Pedestrian Bridges and Tunnels City of Miami Gardens, Florida. The City of Miami <br />Gardens engaged a Design/Build firm to design, permit and construct pedestrian improvements at the Hard Rock <br />Stadium in the City of Miami Gardens, which completed prior to a big event scheduled for February 2, 2020. <br />Proposed pedestrian prefabricated metal bridge, fully enclosed with galvanized mesh, with minimum clearance of <br />17.5’, a span of approximately 145’, height of 15’ and 15’ of inside clear width, with concrete ramps and steps to <br />provide ingress and egress to proposed pedestrian overpass. Proposed ramps and steps were constructed in <br />private land, which access to the public will be uninterrupted, open 24 hours a day and an easement granted to the <br />City of Miami Gardens to place proposed ramps in public land. Mr. Fernandez was responsible for the boundary <br />and topographic survey for this project and plat review and drafting of legal sketch and descriptions for easements. <br /> <br />ADA Compliant Bus Stop Improvement, Town of Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes, Florida. Mr. Fernandez was the <br />project surveyor for this project which included the filed data collection, topographic survey, scope determination <br />and the generation of demolition, new construction, and maintenance of traffic plans. Project provided the client <br />with the design for ADA improvements to 11 bus stops locations, new bus shelters, concrete pads, sidewalks and <br />amenities. Mr. Fernandez was responsible for the generation of survey files at the 11 sites to be used as base for <br />the engineering design on this project. <br /> <br />City of Opa-Locka Bus Stop Topographic Surveys, Miami-Dade County, FL - This project included performing <br />topographic surveys in the City of Opa-Locka to provide new bus shelters at existing bus stop locations. For this <br />project, Mr. Fernandez conducted Field Surveys that included the location of all above ground features, locate and <br />translate benchmarks, generate elevations, easement and right-of-way determination for the addition of bus shelters <br />at over 12 local roadway bus stops. Mr. Fernandez directs our crew to obtain field information and then reviews <br />CAD drawings to be later provided to our engineering department for design purposes. <br /> <br />ResumesPremiere Design Solutions, Inc.
