Andres has led multi-faceted project
teams in the engineering design for a variety of projects, including those involving
dredging, beach renourishment, seawalls, bulkheads, marinas, shoreline
stabilization and other marine/coastal structures. His experience in coastal
development in South Florida and within Miami Beach include design and
construction administration of marine/coastal structures. Andres utilizes his
experience in project management to coordinate with clients’ Project Managers
and lead a design team to execute clients’ vision. His experience encompasses the
planning, design and construction administration for marine/coastal projects.

His experience in Florida also includes the environmental permitting of projects
through agencies such as the Florida Department of Environmental Protection
(FDEP), Department of Environmental Resource Management and U.S. Army Corps
of Engineers. Andres has managed the processing of marine/coastal designs through
these agencies to obtain the required approvals, which required extensive
experience with projects adjacent to the coast and/or waterfront. These projects
have required coordination with diverse project teams to design systems that meet
the development programming goals for both public and private sector clients and
the stringent regulatory permitting criteria to manage the protection of our valuable
marine resources.
CCuurrrriiee PPaarrkk,, WWeesstt PPaallmm BBeeaacchh
Marine engineering and environmental
consulting services for design of staging
dock, deteriorated boat ramp and
maintenance dredging.

FFeerrnn IIssllee PPaarrkk,, MMiiaammii
Shoreline stabilization design and
environmental permitting of 500 feet
of canal bank and 40-ft kayak launch
ramp.
