THE BETAJONES GROUP, INC. <br /> <br />EXPEDITING DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />8/17/2020 <br />o The Design Team will work with the Client and Construction Team and attend Pre- <br />Construction Meetings, as necessary, with Jurisdictional Agencies and Inspectors requiring <br />such meetings. <br />o The Design Team will review and process, as necessary, all construction shop drawings and <br />Contractor RFIs (Request for Additional Information) for materials to be ordered, <br />accordingly, and any clarifications questions answered. <br />o Any Finishes on the project still left to be determined will be coordinated between the Client, <br />Design and Construction Teams. <br />o The Design Team Shall conduct onsite inspections, review testing, and maintain <br />coordination with the Contractor on all As-built Requirements to be reviewed and approved <br />prior to certification. <br />o The Design Team shall assist the Contractor with the Permit Close-out with the required <br />Jurisdictional Agencies. <br />o At the End of Construction, the Design team will conduct a final review of the Asbuilt Survey <br />and Site Work and provide a checklist in coordination with the Client to the Contractor of any <br />remaining close out items. <br />o Once the Permit has been closed and final Punch list items have been completed, the <br />Project Manager will provide all certification letters and obtain and releases from the <br />Contractor for the owners to proceed with operating the newly built project. <br /> <br />TIMELINE: DEPENDING ON THE PROJECT <br /> <br />Can be expedited and or Compressed as necessary. <br /> <br />QUALITY CONTROL <br /> <br />BetaJones Engineers provides quality control methods to all projects by providing client updates at all <br />important milestones. Every Construction Document and Calculations are performed, verified and reviewed <br />by a licensed professional engineer throughout the project. Our Lead Principal, Mr. Betalleluz's engineering experience <br />expands from 1998 to the Present. He started his career doing the basic AutoCAD plans and has progressed <br />in experience, including running an engineering department for a top national firm, until the founding of The <br />BetaJones Group in 2006. It is guaranteed that most other firms will not have the ability to have a P.E. do <br />the entire project, fast, good, and within budget. Multi-use and multi-function design <br />o A presentation of Multi-purpose material, will be presented to the City with optional costs, lifetime and <br />maintenance patterns. <br /> <br />2. Offgrid with self-supported Facility <br />o The Design team will present alternative and sustainable energy sources and their costs to the City to <br />implement in the project. <br /> <br />3. Water Storage and Stormwater Management <br />a. Based on it’s specific ecological location, the design team will perform a hydraulic study of the water <br />table, sea level rise, and provide an option of future proof drainage systems to be selected. <br /> <br />4. Educational Tools <br />o The team will incorporate the City’s and local History and coordinate any specific design and/or other <br />attractions which may be featured on the project.
