BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />The project is planned to be located at LeJeune Road/SW 42nd Avenue over the C-3 Canal/Coral Gables Canal in Miami. <br />A new bridge will be constructed and will be supported by shallow foundations at each end bent, and the existing bridge <br />will be demolished, including existing foundations. The new foundations will be 48 feet long by 8 feet wide located at each <br />end bents. <br />Terracon performed subsurface exploration (advancement of test borings and percolation tests) and geotechnical <br />engineering services in order to provide relative information and geotechnical engineering recommendations in relation to <br />subsurface soil conditions, groundwater conditions, site preparation and earthwork, excavation considerations, foundation <br />design and construction, lateral earth pressure, slope stability, and hydraulic conductivity value. <br />Firm's Fee: $28,325 <br />25.
