Fees and expenses will be invoiced monthly based, as applicable, upon the percentage of services completed or actual services performed, and expenses incurred as of the invoice date. Payment will be due within 25 days of your receipt of the invoice. FUTURE NOT IN SCOPE TASKS Not included in the scope of services shown above are permitting tasks that can be provided as additional services if requested by the Client. These tasks consist of: TASK 5 — FOOT PERMITTING ASSISTANCE - $5,000 Kimley-Horn will assist the Client in preparation of the required FDOT/Agency permits associated with improvements within the Collins Avenue right of way. At this time, we anticipate the following permits will be required: ■ FOOT ROW Utility Permit ■ FOOT Drainage Permit ■ FOOT Access Permit This task includes up to 25 -man hours for permitting assistance purposes. Additional man-hours, if needed will be addressed as an additional service with written authorization from the Client. Preparation of permit applications and submittals of the same as well as permit fees are not part of this task. TASK 6 — SIB GOVERNMENT CENTER ON-SITE PERMITTING ASSISTANCE - $8,000 Kimley-Horn will assist the Client in preparation of the required agency permits associated with the inclusion of the bridge within the SIB Government Center site on the west side of Collins Avenue. At this time, we anticipate the following permits will be required: ■ DRER Paving and Drainage Plan Review ■ City of Sunny Isles Breach Building Department ■ City of North Miami Beach Public Works Utility Dry Run- Water Service Relocates This task includes up to 35 -man hours for permitting assistance purposes. Additional man-hours, if needed will be addressed as an additional service with written authorization from the Client. Kimley-Nom shall provide the required plans sets to the Client for processing to the applicable agencies. Agency comments shall be provided to Kimley-Hom and once all agency comments are collected, Kimley- Horn shall provide responses to these comments. Kimley-Horn shall respond to two (2) rounds of comments. Preparation of permit applications and submittals of the same as well as permit fees are not part of this scope of services. All application, review, permit and impact fees are to be paid directly by the City. Permits will be applied for in conformance with the guidelines for the listed entities. This task assumes that the Client or Owner will contract the services of a permit expeditor to coordinate, submit and transmit the required plans and permit documents as well as follow up with the applicable permitting agencies. Kimley-Horn does not guarantee the issuance of permits or approvals. If permits are issued for this project, the conditions and expiration dates are the sole responsibility of the City. Kimley-Horn is not responsible for extending time-limited entitlements or permits. Kimley-Horn may provide services related to permit time extension requests and/or re-application of expired permits as an additional service.
