RESOLUTION NO. 2021- -� 11 I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY CENTURY TOWERS ASSOCIATES, LLP TO PLACE TWO (2) TEMPORARY BANNERS AT THE MARINA DEL MAR PROJECT LOCATED AT 100 KINGS POINT DRIVE; SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Century Towers Associates, LLP ("Applicant") located at 100 Kings Point Drive, submitted an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beach requesting to place two (2) temporary banners for the approved Marina del Mar project; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the Applicant's request to place two (2) temporary banners on the eastern elevation for the Marina del Mar Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Temporary Banners. Pursuant to Section 265-14 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City Commission hereby approves the request submitted by the Applicant, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 2. Section 2. Conditions. The Applicant is required to obtain all necessary permits for the installation of the two (2) banners, and such banners must be installed according to plans submitted with the application. The banners shall not be relocated and/or replaced without prior approval from the City Manager. The banners must be removed from the tower no later than two (2) years from the approval date unless an extension is provided by City Manager or designee. Section 3. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution Section 4. Effective Date.
