RESOLUTION NO. 2021- -� 11 I <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REQUEST SUBMITTED BY <br />CENTURY TOWERS ASSOCIATES, LLP TO PLACE TWO (2) <br />TEMPORARY BANNERS AT THE MARINA DEL MAR PROJECT <br />LOCATED AT 100 KINGS POINT DRIVE; SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />CONDITIONS; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE <br />AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, Century Towers Associates, LLP ("Applicant") located at 100 Kings Point <br />Drive, submitted an application to the City of Sunny Isles Beach requesting to place two (2) <br />temporary banners for the approved Marina del Mar project; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the Applicant's request to place two <br />(2) temporary banners on the eastern elevation for the Marina del Mar Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approval of Temporary Banners. Pursuant to Section 265-14 of the Code of the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City Commission hereby approves the request submitted by the <br />Applicant, subject to the conditions set forth in Section 2. <br />Section 2. Conditions. The Applicant is required to obtain all necessary permits for the <br />installation of the two (2) banners, and such banners must be installed according to plans submitted <br />with the application. The banners shall not be relocated and/or replaced without prior approval <br />from the City Manager. The banners must be removed from the tower no later than two (2) years <br />from the approval date unless an extension is provided by City Manager or designee. <br />Section 3. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do <br />all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution <br />Section 4. Effective Date.
