Russo, City Manager <br />FROM: <br />Sylvia Flores, Director of Cultural & Community <br />Services <br />DATE: <br />3/18/2021 <br />RE: <br />Fourth Amendment to Interlocal Agreement with City of <br />Hialeah <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />This resolution is presented for your consideration <br />REASONS: <br />In 2016, the City entered into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of <br />Hialeah for maintenance of our shuttle buses, in order to meet county <br />and federal guidelines. The guidelines are required as part of funding <br />received by Miami Dade County and a federal grant for our Shuttle <br />Bus operation. <br />City of Hialeah continues to meet all of these requirements and can <br />provide a one -stop shop in that they will coordinate all maintenance, <br />including warranty work, and maintain all records relating to all SIB <br />shuttle buses. This will streamline the process for our Fleet <br />Maintenance Division as well as ensure compliance with all county <br />and federal regulations, They specialize in large vehicles such as our <br />shuttle buses. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />We are requesting to renew this agreement, for 29 months, in order to <br />coincide with the City's fiscal year. For this 29-month period, we are <br />requesting a not -to -exceed amount of $200,000.
