CRAIG A. SMITH & ASSOCIATES PROPOSED SCOPE OF SERVICES
P4009 -- PAGE 4--
E74 &
E75 ONE CALL COORDINATION & EM / GPR LOCATING
Coordinate with SSOCOF to ascertain approximate facility locations prior to vacuum
excavation in accordance with FS 556. Perform project "White Lining" in accordance with
FS 556. Maintain database of SSOCOF Tickets and responses. Perform EM / GPR
locating to confirm information derived from review of as-builts and coordination with
member operators, identify buried power, telecom, CATV, water, sewer and drainage
facilities, identify potentially unknown/unclaimed facilities and supplement surface
markings for collection by CAS Survey. Prepare sketch of identified facilities.
$13,800.00
E78 VACUUM EXCAVATION ("SOFT DIGS")
Perform up to fifty (50) "soft digs" to identify the type, size, and material as well as depth
to the top of potentially conflicting and / or newly identified or previously unknown facilities.
Prepare Vacuum Excavation reports including location sketch with facility type, size, depth
and composition. (Survey not included, see survey proposal for soft dig survey price).
Additional soft digs above this amount will be charged at the rate of $495.00 each,
exclusive of survey. Provide coordination with CAS Survey and Engineering Departments
to review subsurface utility information and review survey maps to ensure accurate
depiction of located facilities.
$24,750.00
E53A DRAINAGE ANALYSIS AMD SYSTEM DESIGN
CAS will develop drainage improvements to the area by completing 1:20 scale plans (full
size 36" x 24") & 1:40 scale plans (half size 17"x 11 ") for bidding and construction containing
plan and profile views of the proposed work using the most recently obtained version of
Autodesk Civil3D CADD software. Prior to the above, CAS will compile survey obtained
data for the development of stormwater model and for preliminary analysis purposes. CAS
will perform computer hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of the area for multiple design
storm events of the current and proposed conditions and compare results. CAS will perform
pipe sizing analysis of existing system and incorporate recommended improvements with
water quality treatment measures in the design in accordance with the South Florida Water
Management District and Miami -Dade County permit requirements. CAS will coordinate
with local utilities as reasonably necessary in order to resolve known utility conflicts during
the design. CAS will provide the necessary engineering information to the City to assist the
City with obtaining the necessary easements from the affected property owner(s). CAS will
produce progress prints at the request of the City or as required by grant requirements.
$160,000.00
