ORDINANCE NO. 2014- 1.49,. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2013-412; AMENDING THE CITY'S <br /> BUDGET NO. BA1314-04 FOR THE 2013-2014 FISCAL YEAR - <br /> GENERAL FUND, STREET CONSTRUCTION/ <br /> MAINTENANCE FUND, CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, AND <br /> 2010 CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br /> MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br /> IMPLEMENT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS <br /> ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Subsection 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and <br /> the City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 (the <br /> "Budget")by Ordinance No. 2013-412; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget to <br /> record a COPS Grant not originally budgeted and for transfers for actual needs; Street <br /> Construction/Maintenance Fund for transfers for actual needs; Capital Projects Fund to record <br /> donation for playground by the Dezer family and corresponding expenditure and for transfers for <br /> actual needs; 2010 Capital Projects Fund for transfers for actual needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the <br /> Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS" clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof. <br /> Section 2: Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2013-412 is amended as Amendment No. BA1314-04 to reflect the revisions in <br /> Exhibit "A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 2013-412 not otherwise amended <br /> by this Ordinance remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 3: Authorization of City Manager.
