Chapter 121 of the Code <br /> of Ordinances of the City provides for rules and regulations concerning certificates of use and <br /> contains specific grounds for denial. The City desires to amend Chapter 121 of the City Code to <br /> include grounds for denial of a certificate of use if a business activity is considered a threat to the <br /> public health, welfare or safety of the City. By adopting this amendment, the requirements for <br /> denial for certificate of use mirror the grounds for denial of a business license. <br /> This Ordinance was requested by Stan Morris, Deputy City Manager. <br />
