Section 1. Support of Senate Bill 224 and House Bill 105. The City Commission hereby <br />expresses support for Senate Bill 224 and House Bill 105, and urges the Florida Legislature to <br />adopt, and Governor Ron DeSantis to support and approve, the bills. <br />Section 2. Directions to the City Clerk. The City Clerk is hereby directed to distribute copies <br />of this Resolution to Senator Gruters, Representatives Altman, Fine, LaMarca, and Tant, Governor <br />Ron DeSantis, the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, the President of the Florida <br />Senate, the Florida League of Cities, and the Miami -Dade League of Cities. <br />Section 3. Effective Date.
