every effort to ensure that its advisory committees, public involvement activities <br />and all other programs, services and activities include representation by <br />communities with disabilities and disability service groups. <br />The City encourages the public to report any facility, program, service or activity <br />that appears inaccessible to those who are disabled. Furthermore, the City will <br />provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities who wish to <br />participate in public involvement events or who require special assistance to <br />access facilities, programs, services or activities. Retaliation <br />Retaliation is prohibited under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related <br />federal and state nondiscrimination authorities. It is the policy of the City that <br />persons filing a grievance of discrimination should have the right to do so <br />without interference, intimidation, coercion or fear of reprisal. Anyone who feels <br />they have been subjected to retaliation should report such incident to the Title <br />VI Coordinator. <br />VII. Information Notices <br />A link to the City's Title VI information is displayed on the homepage of the <br />City's website, www.sibfl.net, including the Title VI Coordinator's contact <br />information listed above. Title VI notices are also prominently and publicly <br />displayed at City Hall. Additional information relating to the City's <br />nondiscrimination obligation is in this document and can be obtained from the <br />Title VI Coordinator. <br />4 <br />
