WHEREAS, City staff negotiated the initial term of the Agreement for one (1) year with <br />four (4) one-year (1) renewal options ("Renewals"); and <br />WHEREAS, on April 15th, 2021, via Resolution No. 2021-3186, the City Commission <br />approved a First Amendment to the Agreement, thereby exercising the first of four renewals, in <br />an amount not to exceed $31,480.00; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission now wishes to approve a Second Amendment to the <br />Agreement with Jorda Enterprises, Inc., thereby exercising its second of four (4) renewal <br />options, to provide inspection and preventative maintenance services for the HVAC equipment <br />located in the Government Center, in an amount not to exceed Thirty -One Thousand Four <br />Hundred Eighty Dollars ($31,480.00), for a total contract amount not to exceed Ninety -Four <br />Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars ($94,440.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approval of Second Amendment. The City Commission hereby approves a <br />Second Amendment to the Agreement with Jorda Enterprises, Inc., thereby exercising its second <br />of four (4) renewal options, to provide inspection and preventative maintenance services for the <br />HVAC equipment located in the Government Center, in an amount not to exceed Thirty -One <br />Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Dollars ($31,480.00), for a total contract amount not to exceed <br />Ninety -Four Thousand Four Hundred Forty Dollars ($94,440.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Amendment. <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br />Section 4. <br />Effective Date.
