This proposal describes our <br />understanding of the project, lists a purpose for our work, suggests a specific scope of work, and <br />presents our compensation. <br />CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE <br />NV5, Inc. is a consulting firm providing geotechnical and construction materials engineering. We also <br />have equipment and personnel capable of performing soil borings, installing monitor wells, and testing <br />soil/concrete during construction. Our senior engineering personnel are registered professional <br />engineers in Florida, California, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. Combined, they have <br />over 120 years of experience in geotechnical engineering. <br />As a local firm, we have the ability to exercise a great deal of flexibility during the various stages of <br />project development, enabling us to provide a better and more efficient service to our clients, and to <br />maintain direct involvement of the senior personnel on every project. <br />We have worked on many of South Florida's tallest, largest and most notable structures, and over our <br />35 -plus -year history have successfully completed more than 5,000 projects. Our project experience <br />includes residential, commercial, and industrial developments over soft soils, as well as high-rise <br />development. We have the distinction of providing geotechnical services for a significant number of <br />the major high-rise structures that have been constructed in South Florida. and for the majority of <br />those constructed in Miami. To date our local project portfolio includes some 75 -plus towers, <br />constructed or planned, rangin>� in height from 20 to 93 stories tall. <br />PROJECT INFORMATION <br />The project site is located on the northwestern corner of the intersection of Collins Avenue and 158th <br />Street in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. According to the Miami -Dade County Property Appraiser's <br />webpage, the site corresponds to folio numbers 31-2214-004-0180 and 31-2214-008-0071. It is <br />bounded by a parking lot to the north, 158th Street to the south, Collins Avenue to the east, and by a <br />parking lot and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. The site comprises a rectangle measuring about <br />115 by 215 feet in plan. It houses a sales center site and a parking lot.
