The ECitation module will
work with our existing police computer system and allow officer to quickly issue citations and import
driver information into our records database in an amount of $44,495.00. Printers will be placed in
every officer's vehicle and allow them to print out citations from the vehicle for issuance to the cited
driver in an amount of $77,415.09 which includes a 10% contingency for fluctuation in pricing due to
supply chain shortages. The funds will also be used to purchase additional licenses for the police
computer system to account for new hires. We will also be upgrading our current officer laptop
software to the latest version which will modernize the system to a more robust solution for a cost of
$17,745.00. Additional computer licenses are also needed to account for the new and future hire
police officers. The licenses will ensure that each officer has access to the police computer system for
a cost of $21,900.00.
FUNDING SOURCE:
Funds have been appropriated in account no. 600-3-5210-XXXXXX-XXXXX.
ATTACHMENTS:
Resolution
Chief's Certification
Item Number: 10.A
70
