<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |Invitation to Bid No. 22-08-01 20 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The following must be performed during a scheduled preventative maintenance routine: <br /> <br />Component <br /> <br />Action *reflects additional charge over <br />PM rate <br />Visually inspect vehicle for damage or <br />missing parts <br />Advise accordingly <br />Verify function of dash board warning <br />indicators during prove out (key in crank <br />mode) and advise if any warning indicators <br />are continuously on. Record idle hours for <br />Police units. <br />Advise accordingly <br /> <br />Check horn & lights for operation. *Repair as needed <br />Tires - Inspect for unusual wear or tread at <br />or below 4/32nd of an inch <br />*Replace as needed. <br />Brake Inspection *Repair as needed <br />Rotate tires (if spare is new, rotate into <br />service) and inflate to manufacturer’s <br />recommendations <br />Part of PM <br />Parking and service brake Inspect for proper operation and advise <br />accordingly <br />Inspect coolant, brake, power steering, <br />transmission, rear axle, and washer fluid. <br />Top off fluids and advise of any concerns. <br />*Any Level 3 leak, fluid leaking on the ground <br />must be repaired <br />Engine oil <br /> <br />Check oil level and condition prior to <br />changing it. Advise of any concerns. Next <br />change oil and filter. Fill to top of full line on <br />dipstick <br />Check and Adjust Drive Belts Advise accordingly <br />Inspect & replace wiper blade and washer <br />pump every three (3) months <br />*Replace as needed <br /> <br />Air Filter *Replace as needed <br />Battery terminals Service (part of PM) <br />Transmission fluid and fuel filter *Replace at 30,000 mile intervals <br />Check Engine Cooling System, Hoses And <br />Clamps <br />*Replace as needed <br /> <br />Check Exhaust System Advise accordingly
