developed for the selected alternative, using suggested timepoints and stop locations <br />determined through the Task I analysis on existing conditions. <br />Evaluation of Alternative Routes will at a minimum, consider: <br />• Benefits and detriments of linking routes; <br />• Analysis of transfer locations/times to determine the efficiency of route connectivity. <br />• Potential headways and passenger travel times <br />Corradino will utilize the results of Task 1 to conduct an analysis of expansion opportunities to <br />areas not currently served by the shuttle. The expansion analysis will include consideration of <br />how expansion will impact the existing system. <br />Task 3 — Public Engagement: <br />Time Frame: Day 1— Project Conclusion <br />Cost: $6,725 <br />Kickoff Meeting: A kickoff meeting will be held with City staff after the NTP within one week. <br />Steering Committee Meeting: A steering committee will be formed consisting of various city <br />departments, Miami Dade County Transit, and other willing operators of surrounding systems. <br />Two (2) meetings with the steering committee will be held, at the outset of the study and when <br />the draft conclusions are available. <br />Public Workshop: One (1) public workshop will be held to inform the general public about the <br />study and to solicit their input, and will be publicized to encourage current and potential riders <br />to attend. <br />Stakeholders Meetings: Stakeholder meetings are critical to a good transit plan. Interviews with <br />major stakeholders, such as staff, concerned citizens and businesses, as well as elected officials <br />will be conducted. During these meetings, it will be important to document the needs of the <br />groups that the stakeholders represent, the vision of what they would like services to look like in <br />the future (types of services and service area), and any upcoming developments within their <br />organization or the group that they represent that would generate changes in the need for <br />transportation. Up to a dozen stakeholders meetings will be scheduled for this effort. <br />Minutes/summaries of all meetings and interviews will be provided. <br />City Council Presentation: One presentation will be made to the City Council to review in detail <br />and answer questions about the project. <br />Task 4 — Final Report: <br />4055 NW 97TH AVENUE • SUITE 200, MIAMI.
