NNY ISf FB F FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN •' THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND � P °> N° THE CORRADINO GROUP CONTRACT NO. 2022-3089 This First Amendment to the Agreement between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH ("City") and THE CORRADINO GROUP ("Consultant") executed this O�` qday of July 2022, is made a part of the original Agreement dated March 2', 2022, attached hereto as Attachment "A" and incorporated herein by reference, between the City and the Consultant, whose Federal Identification # is 61-0713040. The City and Consultant hereby agree as follows: RECITALS WHEREAS, on November 9, 2021, pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, also known as Florida's Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act ("CCNA"), the City issued Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 21-11-01 for Planning and Zoning Services, including Traffic Engineering ("Services"); and WHEREAS, on February 17, 2022, the City awarded the RFQ to the Consultant, and entered into an Agreement, for the Services; and WHEREAS, the City is in need of a comprehensive operational analysis of the SIB Shuttle system, which require the professional services of a traffic engineer; and WHEREAS, the City now wishes to amend the Agreement awarded to the Consultant which was procured pursuant to the requirements of CCNA, to provide the aforementioned additional professional services; and WHEREAS, the City further wishes to amend the Agreement to provide for additional compensation for the original Services. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and the mutual covenants herein name, the parties agree as follows: 1. ADDITIONAL SERVICES. Pursuant to Section 22 of the Agreement, the Parties hereby wish to amend Section 3 of the Agreement ("Services") to include a comprehensive operational analysis of the SIB Shuttle system as more particularly described in Consultant's proposal attached hereto as Attachment "A", which is incorporated herein by reference ("Additional Services"). 2. ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION. The Parties hereby wish to amend Section 4 of the Agreement to include additional compensation in the amount of Fifty -Five Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($55,950.00) for the Additional Services, and an additional Eighty -Five Thousand ($85,000.00) for the performance of the original Services. 3. OTHER PROVISIONS REMAIN IN EFFECT. Except as specifically modified herein, all terms and conditions of the original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. 4. CONFLICTING PROVISIONS. The terms, statements, requirements, or provisions contained in this First Amendment shall prevail and be given superior effect and priority over any conflicting or inconsistent terms, statements, requirements or provisions contained in any other document or attachment, including but not limited to Attachment "A" and "B".
