WHEREAS, the City wishes to express its support of the FLC Legislative Platform and <br />urges the Florida Legislature to also consider and support the Legislative Platform. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Express Support. The City of Sunny Isles Beach supports the Florida League of <br />Cities' adopted 2023 FLC Legislative Platform and will work with our local legislative delegation <br />in support of these and other issues affecting Florida's cities, towns, and villages during the <br />upcoming 2023 Legislative Session. <br />Section 2. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br />Section 3. Direction to the City Clerk. The City Commission hereby directs the City Clerk <br />to furnish copies of this Resolution to members of the local legislative delegation and the <br />Florida League of Cities <br />Section 4. Effective Date.
