ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING (Public Hearings) <br /> <br /> <br />10. RESOLUTIONS <br /> <br />10A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br />an Agreement with Millenium Products, Inc. for the Purchase and Installation of <br />License Plate Recognition Systems, in an of $126,309.78, Attached Hereto as Exhibit “A”; <br />Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; <br />Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Betancur read the title, and Police Chief Snyder reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Goldman moved, and Vice Mayor Svechin seconded a motion to approve <br />the resolution. Resolution No. 2020-3073 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />10B. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Authorizing <br />the Chief of Police, in Accordance with the Comprehensive Crime Control Act of 1984 to <br />Expend Forfeiture Funds from the Department of Justice (DOJ) for the installation of <br />Six (6) License Plate Reader System Cameras, in an Amount Not to Exceed $126,309.78; <br />Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Betancur read the title, and Police Chief Snyder reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Goldman moved, and Vice Mayor Svechin seconded a motion to approve <br />the resolution. Resolution No. 2020-3074 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in <br />favor. <br /> <br />10C. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Ratifying a <br />First Amendment to the Agreement with FPI Security Services, Inc. to Provide a <br />Customer Service Ambassador for the Pier Park Parking Lot, in a Total Amount Not to <br />Exceed $60,000.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit “A”; Authorizing the City Manager to Do <br />All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br /> [Clerk’s Note: This item was revised prior to the start of the meeting, and was heard in <br />conjunction with item 10D.] <br /> <br />10D. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Ratifying <br />an Emergency Agreement with FPI Security Services, Inc. to Aid in Enforcement of <br />City, State, and Federal Emergency Guidelines and Regulations Related to COVID-19, <br />in a Total Amount Not to $60,000.00, Attached Hereto as Exhibit “A”; Authorizing the City <br />Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an <br />Effective Date. <br /> <br />[Clerk’s Note: This item was heard in conjunction with item 10C.]
