Summary Minutes: Hybrid Regular City Commission Meeting January 21, 2021 City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida <br /> <br />7 <br />Statutes, to Revise the Required Health Education in Public Schools to Include <br />Information Regarding the Dangers and Signs of Human Trafficking, and Specifying <br />the Minimum Requirements of the Human Trafficking Education Portion of the <br />Comprehensive Health Education Curriculum; Urging the Florida Legislature and <br />Governor Ron DeSantis to Support and Approve the Legislation; Directing the City Clerk to <br />Distribute Copies of this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Betancur read the title, and Vice Mayor Svechin reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: None. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Svechin moved, and Commissioner Viscarra seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution. Resolution No. 2020-3161 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />10I. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Expressing <br />Support of the Miami-Dade County Public School Superintendent and Board’s <br />Recommendation to Prioritize Vaccinations for All School Based Staff in Order to <br />Protect the Health of School Employees, Grade School Children and Their Families; <br />Providing an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: City Clerk Betancur read the title, and Vice Mayor Svechin reported. <br /> <br />Public Speakers: Uran, Ana. <br /> <br />Commissioner Viscarra moved, and Vice Mayor Svechin seconded a motion to approve the <br />resolution.
