RFQ 14 -07 -02 <br />Kimley -Horn <br />August 1, 2014 <br />Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc. <br />600 N Pine Island Road, Suite 450 <br />Plantation, FL 33' )24 <br />RE: Letter of Reference <br />To whom it may concern: <br />For several tears, Kimley -Horn and Associates, Inc. has been one of the Village of Palmetto <br />Bay's primary engineering consultants. Throughout the tenure of their continuing <br />engineering services contract with the Village, the Kimley -Horn team has consistently <br />provided creative, cost - effective planning, engineering design, and construction <br />administrative services. <br />The numerous projects assigned to Kimley -Horn since 2003 have included the development <br />of the Village's Comprehensive Plan, Stormwater \faster Plan, and Stormwater Management <br />Report. Kimlev -Horn also assisted the Village in establishing a Stormwater Utility and <br />Stormwater Capital Improvement Plan. <br />In addition to our planning efforts, Kimley -Hom helped the Village implement our fast <br />large roadway and drainage improvement project on SW 164th Street, as well as three <br />additional large roadway and drainage improvement projects on SW 148th Street, SW 146th <br />Street, and SW 89'h Avenue. Kimley -Horn has also completed our next roadway and <br />drainage improvement design on SW 88"' Avenue and is currently updating our Stormwater <br />master Plan. The capital projects included roadway restoration /resurfacing and drainage <br />improvements in residential areas, new drainage outfalls, permitting, new sidewalks, and site <br />restoration. Kimley -Hom also provided construction phase services to expedite the project, <br />confirm the project was built in accordance with the design plans, and to minimize impacts <br />to the community during construction.
