In the past, the event has been hosted in the lobby of the Government Center; <br />however, in recent years, the event has grown and is now hosted in the covered parking area in the <br />Government Center. <br />They are requesting the use of the covered parking area at the Government Center again this year tc <br />host the first night of Hanukkah. Their event would be held on December 7 from 5:00 — 7:00 pm with <br />set up time beginning at 2:00 pm. This event, which includes a student orchestra and stage <br />entertainment, is open to the public, and they are expecting about 250 people. <br />Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be delivered. There will be no cooking of food onsite. <br />They are requesting an in-kind donation from the City: <br />Rental of covered parking area in the Government Center - $1500 <br />Two staff to assist before, after, and during the event - $400 ($40/hour/staff) <br />Stage risers - $250 <br />250 White padded folding chairs - $300 <br />Two 8' Tables - $20 ($10/table) <br />Item Number: 10.1 <br />
