<br />Carpet and Floor Maintenance Services | Bid No. 24-01-01 16 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / General Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The scope to be performed shall include floor cleaning and maintenance to the government facility <br />buildings as described below in this document. All locations must be cleaned vigorously and <br />thoroughly to ensure pristineness throughout. We seek to procure a vendor who can demonstrate <br />exceptional attention to detail and notices the smallest imperfections, proactively correcting them. <br /> <br />The awarded Contractor agrees to perform weekly floor maintenance services on terrazzo, carpet, <br />tile, VCT and marble, at various locations throughout the city. Any changes to the schedule require <br />prior agreement between both parties. <br /> <br />Additionally, the awarded Contractor agrees to perform deep cleaning services for the terrazzo <br />floors and carpet every six months. <br /> <br />LOCATIONS OF WORK & CLEANING SCHEDULES <br /> <br />GATEWAY CENTER – SATURDAY MORNING (OR SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH 2-DAY NOTICE) <br /> <br />• Terrazzo - 2,875 SF <br />Weekly Maintenance -The scope of work includes but is not limited to sweeping, <br />vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and <br />maintenance of the terrazzo floor. <br /> <br />• Carpet - 3,621 SF <br />Vacuum carpet Steam/Hot Water (to minimize wetness), Deep Shampoo to clean stains. <br />Weekly Maintenance - Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, general vacuuming <br />of carpeted areas. Including cleaning the baseboards & stains removal. <br /> <br />• Tile – 2620 SF <br />Weekly Maintenance – Scope of work includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, <br />spot cleaning, and ensuring general cleanliness and maintenance of tile surfaces. <br />Including cleaning the baseboards. <br /> <br />PELICAN COMMUNITY PARK – WEDNESDAY AFTER 9:00 PM (OR SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH 2- <br />DAY NOTICE) <br />• Terrazzo - 4,302 SF <br />Weekly Maintenance -The scope of work includes but is not limited to sweeping, <br />vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and <br />maintenance of the terrazzo floor. <br /> <br />• Carpet - 1,000 SF
