<br /> CATERING SERVICES # 24-02-02 <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the purchase of food and beverages <br />catering services for the City’s anniversary party. The Firm will be responsible for supplying all <br />food and beverages, including, but not limited to, all food area needs (ice, condiments, tables for <br />prepping and serving, storage, garbage management) all cooking supplies, grills, cookers, chaffing <br />dishes, pans), all serving supplies (forks, knifes, spoons, plates, cups, gloves, napkins in <br />accordance with section 3.10 below) and all labor services, including staff. <br /> <br />The City will require the Contractor to: <br /> <br />• Be licensed to operate a food catering business. <br />• Cook on-site and serve warm food, dessert, and beverages. <br />• Must be able to cater to vegetarian and vegan for 50 guests <br />• Contractor to provide strong, professional customer service. <br />• Contractor to provide supervision of Concession area at all times of operation. <br />• Conduct operations so that the environment is not negatively impacted. <br />• No glass bottles shall be allowed. <br />• No eating and/or drinking in public/guest areas. <br />• No smoking during the entire event/shift. <br />• Contractor shall meet all Health Department regulations and other applicable laws and <br />regulations in operating the Concession <br />• Firm shall not create nor permit to be caused or created upon the Premises any obnoxious <br />odors or smoke or noxious gases or vapors which would constitute a nuisance; provided, <br />however, that fumes resulting from the normal operations of vehicles or normal business <br />operations shall be excepted from this provision. <br /> <br />3.2 DATE OF EVENT <br /> <br />The event will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, Event Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The awarded <br />firm shall also be available to accommodate contracted service on an alternate date and/or time <br />such as the following weekend, should the event be rescheduled due to weather or other <br />unforeseen circumstances. The awarded vendor must be all set up, and ready for services at least <br />two (2) hour prior to the event start time, and removal of items within two (2) hours of event end <br />time. <br /> <br />3.3 SITE OF EVENT <br /> <br />The site of the event will be located Samson Oceanfront Park, 17425 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles <br />Beach, FL 33160. The area available for the caterer is no greater than a 40’ x 70’ area inclusive of <br />1 box truck. Refer to Exhibit A – Floor Plan. There will be space allotted for 1 box truck to allow <br />for the immediate access of perishable food items. <br /> <br />The city reserves the right to host this event within other locations within the city. <br />
