RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, AWARDING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NO. 24-06-01 TO, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGERTO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH, TD BANK, N.A. FOR BANKING SERVICES, PROVIDED SAID AGREEMENT IS <br />FIRST APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGAL SUFFICIENCY BY THE CITY ATTORNEY; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City"), is in need of banking services to <br />handle operating cash including, but not limited to, deposits, check payments, payroll checks, ACH <br />processing, wire transfers, and corporate credit cards; and <br />WHEREAS, on June S, 2024, the City issued Request for Proposals (the "RFP") No. 24-06-01 <br />for banking services (the "Services"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City received four (4) responses, and determined that TD Bank, N.A. ("TD <br />Bank") was the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, TD Bank is qualified, willing, and able to provide the desired Services pursuant <br />to the terms and conditions set forth in the RFP; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to award the RFP to, and authorize the City <br />Manager to negotiate and execute an Agreement with TD Bank for the Services, provided said <br />Agreement is first approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Award of Bid and Authorization of City Manager. The City Commission hereby <br />awards Request for Proposals No. 24-06-01 to, and authorizes the City Manager to negotiate and <br />execute an Agreement with, TD Bank, N.A. for banking services, provided said Agreement is first <br />approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the City Attorney. <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager and City Attorney. The City Manager and the City <br />Attorney are hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br />Section 3.
