Pursuant to Chapter 62, Section 62-6, Purchasing limitations; effect on competitive bidding <br />requirement, (B) Purchases- more than $2,500.00 but less than $50,000.00. Purchases of, or contracts <br />for, materials, supplies, equipment, improvements or services for which funds are provided in the <br />budget, where the total amount to be expended is in excess of $2,500.00, but which do not exceed <br />$50,000.00 may be made, or entered into, by the City Manager without submittal to the City <br />Commission, but shall require compliance with the informal competitive bidding requirements set forth <br />in §§ 62-6 and 62-7 of this chapter.
